I think... Chris was probably the same for me. But I imagine time was running out on your end, too? It's not easy to talk about and no matter how dire it is, even knowing I might've -- most likely would -- die... I wanted to believe maybe it wouldn't be, you know? There's only so much nerve you have no matter how strong you are. Regrets, what you could've had... it's easier to realize them when you're on that wire.

[ Being right isn't her goal, of course. She just wants him to understand where she came from and in-turn, where his friend (or something more, maybe) could've been coming from. If he was anything like Chris, maybe there was some kind of love there. But she won't pry. Feelings are hard enough to talk about and figure out without all of this attached.

At a thought, Star Platinum goes zipping off at the speed of Really Fast™, and when Star returns a second later, a can of beer just seems to miraculously appear cradled in Jotaro's left hand.

And this is a trick he's clearly practiced, stabbing the base with a pen, lifting it to his mouth, and popping the tab like the champion he is, making direct eye contact with the video feed the whole time.

To his credit, he doesn't choke or sputter. When the can is done, he tosses it back to his Stand, who crushes it in one fist with a satisfying crunch, and then heads off to go responsibly deposit it in the recycling can.]
